“After we finished building our house, our windows were really a mess! Wadleys Window Cleaning fully inspected our glass to help us determine what to do with some of the damaged surfaces. They were very helpful and professional.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

The Glass Association of North America or GANA recommends cleanings when “dirt and residue appear.” The importance of regular cleanings reduces the risk of harmful deposits which can damage glass. We advise monthly cleanings for businesses and quarterly service for residential clients. Glass replacement is not cheap. Let us protect your investment.

I have several windows with moisture inside the glass? My windows are not old! What caused this to happen?

This is referred to as IG or insulated glass failure. Many windows stay clear after 30 years when others are clouded in only 30 days. If you are experiencing this, refer to your warrantee information sooner rather than later. The reasons generally trace back to manufacturing mistakes or oversight. Even the best fabricators will have some failed units. However, the window is still defective and not your fault. Reputable providers of quality glass will stand behind their products.

Can they be fixed rather than replaced?

The technology to repair will soon be available in our area. We will let you know as soon as it is an option.

***Update***

Window repair is now available in our area. For more information, please visit CCW Window Restoration Technology at www.ccw-windows.com.

How do I get an estimate?

Call our office and we would be happy to give you a price average for a comparable job to yours. Before we begin your service we will add up your job exactly with our price formula sheet and give you a written breakdown.

It may be a headache but I want to clean my own windows. Can you give me some pointers?

Cleaning windows correctly and safely is a much larger endeavor than one may realize. We do not recommend it for many reasons. If your mind is already made up and you have the time and money to clean you own glass we will be happy to give assistance by answering any questions.

I have a broken window. Who should or shouldn’t I call to replace it?

Rather than advising which companies to stay away from contact us and we will refer you to the quality provider we would use.

What do you use to clean windows?

We always use a professional cleaning solution for the task at hand. Pictures of some of the many products we use are found on the Helpful Tips page of this website.

Some rooms in my home get really warm! Should I have the windows tinted?

There are some wonderful window films on the market today. The best products installed improperly however can be a homeowner’s worst nightmare. Unfortunately, we have seen it first hand too many times. We can recommend a certified installer in the area to help you make the right choices.

Do you have a rain guarantee?

First, we guarantee all our work to our customer’s complete satisfaction. Second, we also have a full 3 day weather guarantee for our residential maintenance clients. This assures piece of mind knowing we always monitor the weather conditions and forecasts so clients don’t have to.

I can’t seem to find the guy that did my windows last year but can you do it for the same price?

It’s possible but probably not. You see there may be a reason you can’t locate him. He may have moved but chances are he priced himself out of a job and had to find another line of work. Price is always a concern but knowing your window cleaner is a certified professional that will provide guaranteed work for years to come is priceless.

I love my home. How is my property treated?

We take pride in our work and always care for our customer’s property as if it were our own. We are very particular and our clients love that about us. Click on services and under residential there are pictures that illustrate the great care we take in protecting your home.

What does professional window cleaner really mean?

Having a license, insurance, good equipment, and experience is not enough. That may be a good start, but a professional should go beyond what is required. We believe a professional should be a trained and skilled expert certified in his field. If one claims to be a qualified professional but is actually only passing time until something better comes along he clearly never chose window cleaning as his profession.
